Who are you and what do you do?
Hello! I’m Ben and I’m a Junior Graphic Designer at Launch Studio.
What are you currently working on?
Currently, I have been making a Launch explainer video that shows who we are and what we offer as a graphic design agency. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn new aspects of motion design and refine my skills! Should be released really soon!
What’s been your favourite project of the last 6 months?
The Launch motion reel gave me a chance to bring static logos to life with motion design and learn an array of new skills within After Effects – an all over fun project that gave me loads of creative control.

What does good design mean to you?
For me design is all about self expression and finding opportunities to work on projects that allow you to express yourself while creatively and innovatively tackling it's problems.

Eyes Without a Face – Billy Idol
Who do you admire in the design industry and why?
Ben Marriot, he's a YouTuber and motion designer who helped me loads at university.

What would your job be if you weren't a designer?
Game Dev – in a parallel universe I learnt more coding at A-level, then went on to develop indie games
What do you do to relax away from the screen?
Cuddle with Jess the cat and a good horror movie
What are you most proud of since working at Launch?
My first URC brief because it built my confidence in pursuing motion design!
